The Start

I found my calling in the tech world at the age of 20 while attending Montgomery College. Specializing in Computer Gaming and Simulation, I had the opportunity to work with Unity and Unreal Engine extensively. My studies weren’t just about video games; I also delved into board game design. Graduating with an Associate of Applied Science, this experience was an invaluable first step into the world of software development.

Next Chapter

Building upon that foundation, I enrolled in a Software Engineering program at Western Governors University. This next chapter broadened my skill set to include Java programming and database management using MySQL. Furthermore, I gained a strong understanding of UX and UI design principles. For my capstone project, I developed a MySQL-backed appointment scheduler that had sorting, filtering, and storage functionalities.

Off the Clock

When I’m not immersed in code, I assisted small businesses with their online presence. I’ve taken on projects that range from website development to initiating social media strategies. It’s more than just freelance work for me; it’s an avenue to contribute to my community. Seeing these businesses flourish online and connect with new customers has been incredibly gratifying, and it adds a unique, rewarding aspect to what I do.
